THE LONG ISLAND HAMMERHEADS

Proudly representing Long Island as part of Wheelchair Lacrosse USA, the Hammerheads create opportunities for athletes to compete, grow, and inspire through adaptive sports.

Wheelchair Lacrosse

Our Team

Compete

The Long Island Hammerheads compete nationally through Wheelchair Lacrosse USA (WLUSA), including participation in the annual WLUSA Nationals. Our athletes train and compete at the highest level of wheelchair lacrosse while proudly representing Long Island.

Push Boundaries

Wheelchair lacrosse empowers athletes to challenge expectations, overcome obstacles, and discover what's possible through sport. The Hammerheads provide an environment where athletes can push themselves, grow, and achieve both on and off the field.

Grow the Game

The Hammerheads are committed to expanding wheelchair lacrosse by welcoming new players, raising awareness for adaptive sports, and inspiring the next generation of athletes.
